Welsh Umpire Rhian Edwards Awarded International Talent ID Status by INF

We are proud to share the news that Welsh umpire, Rhian Edwards has been awarded International Talent Identified (ITID) status by the International Netball Federation. This means that Rhian has been identified as one of world netball’s brightest officiating prospects, putting her in line to umpire more high profile international test matches.

Rhian has been working very hard as one of Wales’ best umpires for a number of years now. She officiates regularly in the Vitality Netball Superleague and has been an umpire at numerous Netball Europe events.

Rhian is now a leading member of Welsh Netball’s Umpire Steering Group. She has helped Welsh Netball shape its review of the umpiring pathway and will be a big part of our plans for umpiring in Wales going forward.

We would like to wish Rhian a massive congratulations and we look forward to seeing her in action both domestically and on the international stage!
