What is it?
This Introduction to Umpiring course is the first official Umpiring qualification you will need to begin your umpiring journey with Wales Netball.
Who is it for?
- Anybody who wants to get involved in netball and gain basic umpiring knowledge.
- Parents and volunteers who want to help at their local club, school, or community centre.
- People who want to become a Netball Umpire.
What will it allow me to do?
Help your local club or school with umpiring, under supervision.
Candidates will gain a better understanding of the skills and qualities that make an effective umpire, rules and the use of hand signals during play, the basics of game management, and scoring.
