Anna Stembridge (nee Mayes) is Welsh Feather #158 and earned her first cap in an International against Barbados on 12/03/2002. After this Anna was selected to represent Wales for the 17th Commonwealth Games hosted by England in 2002 where she played against England, New Zealand, South Africa and Jamaica. Anna next played in the 2003 FENA Open against Scotland and England, then getting chosen for the 11th World Cup hosted by Jamaica in 2003 where she got to play St Vincent, Cayman Islands, Sri Lanka, Antigua, Bermuda, Scotland and St Vincent again. Then Anna played in the 2004 FENA Open, then an International against South Africa, then the 2005 FENA Open, then an International against Jamaica, then the 2006 FENA Open. Anna was then selected to be part of the team for the 18th Commonwealth Games hosted by Australia in 2006 where she played Australia, Samoa, Jamaica, Singapore, Barbados and South Africa; next up came the World Cup Qualifier against Scotland and Northern Ireland before playing an International against South Africa. Anna then played in the 2007 FENA Open, then an International against Australia, and was also selected for the team competing in the 12th World Cup hosted by New Zealand in 2007 where she played Botswana, New Zealand, Malawi, Malaysia, Fiji and her final game against Trinidad & Tobago on 16/11/2007.
